CATERING GUIDELINES

CHILDREN

  • Children five and under are charged $5 each.
  • Children five and under are not part of your minimum adult guest count. But they do require a seat so you need to include them in your seating diagram.
  • Indicate a highchair with an "H" and a booser seat with "B", and "C" for children who do not require highchairs or booster seats.
  • Babies in carriers also require a seat and must be included in your seating diagram. For saftey reasons carriers may not be placed on the floor by guest tables.

MENU CHANGES/SUBSTITUTIONS TO ACCOMMODATE VEGAN, GLUTEN-FEE , ADDITIONAL GUESTS, PRICE CHANGES

  • As a buffet service we do not prepare individual plated meals for vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free.
  • You may wish to substitute or add gluten-free/vegan or options options to your menu. For example, Risotto or polenta is a gluten-free vegan option that may be added or substituted for any pasta dish. Request pricing changes for substituions at your planning meetings.
  • Gluten-free pastas are available and may be substituted for any of your pasta dishes on your buffet. Request substitution and pricing at your meeting with Wellers.
  • Additional guests may be added as late as the Thursday prior to your event and will be deducted from your advance If total exceeds 50%, additions must be paid prior to event by cash or cashiers check.
  • All food and service charges are subject to change without advance written notice.

SEATING FOR DINNER

  • Wellers staff will ring the dinner bell outdoors 20 minutes before the Bride and Groom make their grand entrance.
  • At the entry to your room a table is provided for your place cards or seating chart.
  • Wellers will supply your table numbers. However, feel free to bring your own if you have something special you want
  • You will need your final RSVP and final seating diagram at your final meeting one week prior to your wedding .
  • You cannot lower your guest count after your final meeting payment.
  • You may add guests as late as the Thursday prior to your wedding. If the additional cost exceeds 50% of your deposit you will need to make arrangements to pay for them prior to your wedding.

HORSD'OEUVRES

  • Hors d'oeuvre are priced per person for 2-3 per person lasting 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Hors d'oeuvres are passed on silver trays wherever there are guests including patios and ceremony area.
  • There is an additional 20% surcharge for "All Hors d'oeuvre" parties lasting two hours.

MENU SERVICE

  • No food or beverages may be brought in from outside supplies with the exception of the wedding cake or cupcakes.
  • Your menu price includes: Dinner plates, flatware, water goblets, linen napkin, coffee cups, saucers, water pitchers bread baskets, salt & pepper, dipping oil plates and bread plates.
  • Roll baskets are placed at each table when guests are seated;
  • Salads are plated, served at guest tables after the toasts are made.
  • While guests are eating salad and rolls, guest tables are released to the buffet by Wellers banquet manager.
  • Service people must be included in your guest count, but may be seated in another area or outdoors.

DESSERTS & CAKE CUTTING

  • You may not bring in desserts with the exception of the wedding cake and/or cupcakes
  • Please request pricing for specialty dessert items at least one month in advance of your event.. These must be purchased through Wellers
  • Wellers' Cake Cutting Service is $2.25 PP and includes: china plates, napkins, forks serving utensils and the cutting service itself.
  • You may cut your own cake and rent Wellers' china plates and forks for $.75 per person.
  • You may have someone from your event cut the cake and supply your own paper plates, napkins, fork, knife and server. No charge.
