CEREMONY REHEARSALS

Wellers allows rehearsals on the property on Thursdays only.

There is no charge to use the grounds for this but the buildings are not open for use.

Rehearsals are not scheduled and are on a first-come basis i.e. there may be other wedding rehearsals

Order of walking down the wedding aisle

 

1. REHEARSALS AT HOME- Sometimes Thursday rehearsals at Wellers are not convenient as your guests will not be in town until Friday. In this case with the use of some of our forms it can easily be done in your own backyard and simply transposed to Wellers the day of your wedding. Here are some tips for doing your ceremony at home:

  • Give each person in your bridal party a completed copy of your Ceremony Worksheet
  • Assign each person a place to stand in the drawing and a sample time line with the order they ae to come down the aisle.
  • Put one person in charge from your group who is a good organizer. They can walk people through ceremony one more time when they get to Wellers' before bride arrives the day of your wedding. This makes it fresh in everyone's mind and will guarantee a really smooth ceremony.
  • Give everyone in bridal party a driving map to Weller and the Hospitality House if you have rented it.

2. REHEARSALS AT WELLERS'
Rehearsals at Wellers may be held on Thursday evenings only as there are Friday weddings scheduled.

  • Rooms will be set up for someone's wedding, so the banquet rooms are not open to the public during rehearsals unless you have scheduled an indoor ceremony.
  • There may be other parties rehearsing on Thursdays and you may have to wait your turn. Please be respectful.
  • Wellers does not have a full-service restaurant and is open only on weekends for weddings. There are no facilities for food or beverage during rehearsals so let your bridal party know this or bathroom facilities available.
