CATERING GUIDELINES

HORS D'OEUVRES

  • Hors d'oeuvres are priced per person to be served for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Hors d'oeuvres are passed on silver trays wherever there are guests, including patios and ceremony area.
  • Hors d'oeuvre options and pricing may change according to sesasonal availability and trends during the season.

SEATING FOR DINNER

  • Wellers will ring the dinner bell and seat guests 20 minutes before the Bride and Groom make their grand entrance.
  • At the entry to your room a table is provided for your place cards and/or seating chart. Display easels are avaiable to rent.
  • Wellers will supply your table numbers unless you wish to bring in your own.

DINNER SERVICE

  • No food or beverages may be brought in with the exception of the wedding cake and desserts.. See below for guideines and dessert options.
  • Salads are plated and served at guest tables along with warm rolls.
  • We will release your guests two tables at a time to the buffet
  • Each item on buffet is labled for gluten / dairy considerations
  • We do not use peanut oil or peanuts in any items
  • If you choose a two entree menu both entrees are available to guests i.e. you do not need to do menu card for each guest
  • Include your service people in your final seating chart if they require a meal ie.DJ, bands, photographers, coordinators. (Not Wellers staff or bartenders)

LEFTOVERS

  • State health code rules catered food cannot leave the venue after an event as food left in cars unrefrigerated overnight creates a high risk for food poisoning.and severe liability for the venue.

CHILDREN

  • Children five and under are charged $5 each.
  • Children five and under are not part of your minimum adult guest count, but require a seat so you need to include them in your maximum seating.
  • Indicate a highchair with an "H" and a booster seat with "B", and "C" for children who do not require highchairs or booster seats.
  • Babies in carriers also require a seat and must be included in your seating diagram. For safety reasons, carriers may not be placed on the floor by guest tables.

GLUTEN-FREE ALLERGY

  • Gluten-free plates must be requested at your final meeting prior to your wedding and include name and table#.

FINAL SEATING DIAGRAM

  • You will need your final RSVP and final seating diagram at your final meeting with Wellers.
  • You may not lower your guest count after your final meeting payment.
  • You may add guests as late as late as the Thursday prior to your wedding.
  • If the additional cost exceeds 50% of your security deposit you will need to make arrangements to pay for them prior to your wedding.

DESSERTS, DESSERT TABLES & CAKE CUTTING, and DISPLAY OPTIONS

  • You are allowed to bring in dessert options besides or in addition to wedding cakes and cupccakes.
  • Delivery of desserts: Room is open 3 hours prior to ceremony for deliveries
  • Wellers offers a Cake Cutting Service which includes cutting and serving wedding cake, china plates, napkins and forks, $2.25 PP
  • Wellers offers Dessert Display Service which includes displaying desserts, china plates, napkins, forks, $1.25 PP
  • Storage and refrigeration space is not available for desserts and desserts should not be left overnight.
  • For bakers who do great dessert tables we recommend Cakes by Stephanie and Gwen Cakes.
  • If you wish you may have someone from your event cut the cakes and just rent china plates and forks from Wellers $.75 p
  • Or you may wish to have someone from your party cut your o wedding cakesand bring in your own plastic plates and forks No charge

Wellers does not offer Food Tastings.
